The second season of the reality show Big Brother in Serbia ended abruptly and permanently when three of the former houseguests were killed in a car accident, according to The Australian.
Upon the death of the contestants, the remaining seven houseguests were taken out of the house, and the show ceased production. The three houseguests were supposed to return to the house at the show’s scheduled ending on January 5, much like houseguests return at the end of the season here in the U.S.
The production company released the following statement: “Following the tragic death of former Big Brother housemates Stevan Zecevic, Elmir Kuduzovic and Zorica Lazic, B92 and the production company Emotion decided to bring (the show) to an end,” the companies said.
