Scott Baio Ties The Knot

It looks like Scott Baio is no longer 45 or single. The former teen heart throb, known to many of us as Chachi or Charles in Charge, married his longtime girlfriend Renee Sloan in a small ceremony on the roof of a Los Angeles high rise on Saturday. And of course, VH1 was there to record the ceremony for posterity.

Scott and Renee are also the proud parents of a month old baby girl, whose name has yet to be released to the public.

Scott is 46, married and with a family. The whole premise of Scott Baio is 45 and Single was to watch him struggle through his fear of commitment. He sure got over those issues with ease.

For the second season,  VH1 should change the title of the show to, “Scott Baio is Just Like Every Other Middle Aged Man in America”, but instead they are opting for “Scott Baio is 46 and Pregnant,” which premiers January 13, at 10:00pm.

Scrapbooking Reality Show Is In The Works

According to the Salt Lake Tribune, a scrapbooking reality competition show is currently in the works, and the creators (A-Z Media Group) are currently in negotiations with several cable companies to see which one will pick it up.

Please… nobody pick it up.

Health Scare Makes New York Quit Smoking

One of the things I have always wondered when I would watch dating shows like I Love New York is how the contestants could readily swap spit with someone who seems to have a Newport in her hand from the moment we see her on screen. If you are a non-smoker, and you have ever sucked face with a smoker, you know how foul it it. Tiffany Pollard and her mother had to reek of cigarette smoke all the time, because there is really no amount of perfume or breath mints that can mask that smell. And once that smell gets in your weave, you can just forget it…

But according to The New York Daily News, Tiffany was at home relaxing and started to have chest pains, which she thought was a heart attack. The incident scared her so much that she tossed her smokes on the spot and hasn’t touched a cigarette since.

Idol’s Jessica Sierra Won’t Be Singing for Troops This Holiday

It appears that the U.S. Military doesn’t want American Idol 7 finalist Jessica Sierra to perform in their Song for Their Service holiday concert on December 14. The concert, which is sponsored by the Move America Forward organization in Washington, DC canceled Jessica’s performance because they felt that she needed to get herself together.

The organization’s press release stated, “To set the record straight, Ms Sierra will not be participating in this concert… it is quite obvious that Ms Sierra needs to devote a great deal of time to putting her life back together.”

The cancellation is probably fine with the 20 year old singer, because the date would clash with her ongoing commitment to the Tampa, FL jail. Jessica was arrested in a Tampa nightclub on December 1 for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, as well as violating the conditions of her parole for felony battery and drug possession charges. She is being held without bail until her hearing, scheduled for December 20.

In the meantime, you can catch Jessica and a bunch of other d-list train wrecks on VH1’s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew , which begins January 10. Here’s a spoiler: rehab didn’t work for Jessica.

And for those of you who need to watch as much of the poor girl’s self-degradation as possible, you can try to track down the sex tape of her in a grungy motel that TMZ says will be circulating very soon.
