Last night on Hannity and Colmes, Duane “Dog” Chapman began to make the rounds of media redemption, giving the world a very sensible excuse for spewing the word n***** in the taped phone conversation with his son, and in his every day life:
“I thought I was cool enough to say it.”
A very common mistake made by “cool” people with haircuts and wardrobes like the fashion-forward bounty hunter.
From now on I’m sure he will stick to the totally respectful and inoffensive term, “colored.”

Big Brother 9 in February? That’s a distinct possibility, according to Variety.com. Sources say that if the WGA strike continues, and at this point it looks like everyone is in it for the long haul, CBS’s popular summer reality show, Big Brother may pinch hit in February.
CBS, covering their bases in the event of a writers strike, has already begun casting for the show, and executive producer Alison Grodner has been working on the show’s “twist”. Some say that the winter edition of the show would be perfect for America’s first celebrity version, since the strike would leave a lot of stars with nothing better to do. But a three month commitment would be a terribly long time for even a d-list celebrity.
As of this writing, nothing has been officially confirmed by CBS’s but Variety has mentioned it twice already, so there is probably some truth in the rumor. I just hope that CBS realizes that fans would still be expecting to see Big Brother in the summer.
To a reality show fan, summer isn’t summer without Big Brother.
