Ford is considering a reality show

Ford, who has been a sponsor of American Idol, is considering a reality show of it’s own. One of the concepts it is considering is having designers compete against each other for the chance to design a car for Ford. The winner’s car would be built and then shown at the next auto show.

I hope they hire Justin Guarini to sit in the car and sing Ford commercials while its on display. To read more, click here. 

Big Brother 8’s Nick and Daniele do the EBay thing

Daniele Donato, the second place winner of BB8, is auctioning off a couple of her Big Brother 8 items on EBay. She has put up her BB8 duffle bag and Nick Starcevic’s football shirt that they both wore on the show. The bag is autographed by Daniele, and the shirt is autographed by both Dani and Nick. As of this posting, both auctions have a little over 6 days left, and the price is getting up there already.

Reality show winner homeless

Very often we watch talent competition reality shows and feel that the winner has just gotten a big boost to their career, and will be given a great chance at success in their field. We’ve all seen the relative commercial success of the majority of the winners and runners up of American Idol. I have seen contestants from I Want to Be a Soap Star on soap operas, and you can be sure that being on Survivor helped Elizabeth Hassellbeck land her spot on The View.But things do not always end well for the winner of these shows.  Jay McCarroll was the winner of Bravo’s first season of Project Runway, is still designing fashions. However, last time we checked, he was sleeping at the homes of friends, because for the last two years he has been homeless.
